• The Monastic Island of Reichenau

    A Little History…
    Reichenau Island was classified by the UNESCO in 2000 for its religious and cultural significance as a great Benedictine monastery during the early Middle Ages. We spent an entire day visiting the island, which, today, is still a flourishing garden that the monks started over a millenium ago.
